    12 mpg???

That is what I have. OP needs to find a straight piece of road, and drive 55mph and report back his average mileage both ways, steady state.

    Anyone Running 34's W/O Rubbing?

Thank you Daniel, but can you please post as many pics as you have b/c you are running the exact setup I want to run, and weighing the 33 vs 34 question. And what tire sizes do you have?

    33" in spare tire location

Good morning Joe, I know you have 34s (thanks for responding to my post earlier) and that was for a Gen 4? And full of air?

What is the purpose of the flip-up tailgate window?

Had them on my old 2000 EB and I loved them as it reduced the buffeting when you wanted windows down, beautiful weather day or just a mild mix of fresh air with heat.

    Anyone Running 34's W/O Rubbing?

And none of you gentlemen are lifted in anyway? Do you have some detailed pictures? I am weighing the pros/coms of a 33.2 vs. a 34.x when I lift her 1.5 inches via Bilstein shocks (still waiting to get them). I really did not want to suffer the weight penalty of 95% of beefier 33 & 34s, nor...

Any pics? What are "4-18's" speakers?

Ford Premium Care Yes or No?

I have always thought it was a bunch of BS that in their year spread they always include your already vibrant 3 yr "bumper to bumper" coverage. To me it has always been misleading. That being properly complained about, I am considering the $200 deductible / 125K / 8 year Platinum Plan.

What is the purpose of the flip-up tailgate window?

Please forward that info to Toyota before they get someone killed. And make that Ford too, as you can run the Expedition with the rear window WIDE open. So there's that too. I'd also recommend you read the entire 30 year old article, and note the rarity of these incidents even at the time of...

Real World Service Intervals vs manual 2017 3.5L ecoboost

As far as free advice goes? :angels25: For most "normal driving folks"? If you want to be safe, go off the vehicle manufacturers rough/harsh environment maintenance schedule. If you are harder on your vehicles, reduce that even further. If you tow, are in the mountains, pumping additional...

Wheel offsets with A/T tires...pics please

Not a personal fan of tire poke, due to the look and the real (or imagined) stress to the drive-line components and Service Managers. However, I might consider--if I found the right rim--a combination that might push out the setup 5-10mm, but mainly to make sure a slightly larger cleared w/o...

What is the purpose of the flip-up tailgate window?

The reason is b/c Ford saves money, complexity and weight by not having this feature--even if they were to "say" that. And, rarely utilized... but if it was an option, I'd get it. Toyotas (and others) have had power rear glass for years and still do.

Looking For A Hitch Cargo Rack W/Added Ground Clearance

Looking For A Hitch Cargo Rack W/Added Ground Clearance. I found this one, but they want nearly $500 for it: https://www.quadratec.com/products/12033_847_07.htm I know it ain't rocket scientry, so is there another model out there for less dough?

Does anyone have the weight of the factory 4rth Gen Expedition FX4 rim (w/o tire)?

What is the purpose of the flip-up tailgate window?

I have had little use for it currently, as it is not designed to be open when moving, unless lashed to whatever is sticking out the back. That being said--I would never just want a completely sealed window/hatch. You never know (as the above poster stated) As a list of the many things Ford...

    12 mpg???

I have seen 9-10 mpg on a fresh tank (mileage zeroed out), but that is almost all stop and go with a lot of idle time with the A/C blowing hard. My other mileage exploits have been documented elsewhere, but stop & go WILL smash all hopes of mileage to smithereens. If that is your ultimate...

    When You Lift an Expy...

So, when you lift and Expy, do the wheels get pulled inward a little towards the centerline of the truck (meaning towards the driveline)? I am wording this Q poorly, but I am not refering closer to the fender/bumper, but deeper in the wheelwells.

What Have You Done to Your 4th Gen This Week?

Ordered Bilsteins 5100s (backorder) and drove it cross country.

What Have You Done to Your 4th Gen This Week?

I don't think so. My Weathertecs are right at home, and next to my catch can, nose and windshield armor, my best investment. Also protects others on the road from your debris, especially after you have been off-roading. YMMV

Can we talk HD Tow one more time?

If I had to guess (not been under an FX4 yet) the FX4 skid plate package is probably on the "flimsy" side compared to the body armor available on the aftermarket, or compared to say the Dodge Power Wagon (interesting they don't armor the trans pan on it).

You still want to go to those express lube places?

Still can't read what you wrote. Avatar too distracting... The BEST way to deal with your "Lube & Loot" is to buy your oil and filter, make them delete the cost for parts on their end, and watch them like you would your daughter's date on prom night...

Can we talk HD Tow one more time?

Thanks DUNE! Ok, you are a "MAX." Gotcha! Makes sense now, since I *should* be the guy who can carry the most with only the FX4 and HD towing package boxes checked. Am I to guess that a 2wd HD XLT (non-MAX) should be able to carry 1950 lbs +/- ?
