I have no hate for screens. I think they can be integrated really well. The range rovers screen that literally has scroll wheels ON the lower screen that change function when pressed are a great example IMO.

You serious Clark? The entire dash was built around it and integrated into it. The fact that it’s curved is part of why it doesn’t look awful like the expys does.
The 22 expy looks like they literally took a hot glue gun and jammed an android tablet to the dash.

The issue isn’t really with lack of buttons (only one person here opined on that). The issue is integration and balance. The escalade got it right. Tahoe got it wrong. Slapping a giant screen on a dash that was designed for tactile knobs and buttons is just lazy and looks bad. Let’s hope they...

Yeah but it is actually weird limitation though that you can’t have the alarm on when you use the keypad.

Makes sense. The navigator has shown as a key functionality so as long as I have my phone on me the car will unlock. But without that I can understand how it would be helpful

Eh it hasn’t “grown on me” but I’m indifferent to it and certainly prefer it over knobs. I dislike the rotary knob for drive modes...wish they didn’t “package up” everything. I’d like to choose my own 4x4 settings.
