    No amp in some models. The sub woofer does have it's own amp. The JBL system may. The base cassette radio do not. Go to your local junk yard and get the correct plug off the harness. Splice it in and use an install kit wiring adapter. They are on Ebay for $5.

    I never heard if an input rod failure. Get a second opinion. The 6R80 goes nuts after a dead battery. Was there a battery problem recently?

    That sounds like UP, BNSF or old Conrail horns. Every railroad has there own tone. Locomotive air compressors function in the 125-140psi range. A min of 90psi, for the brakes to work. The horns are designed for that air pressure.

    The Expedition's engine sits partially, below the cowl. The cabin filter is usually under the cowl cover. I believe because of this design, there is no cabin filters.

    The Expedition, was the Bronco replacement. They sold so many, it cut into F-150 and Windstar sales. Ford slow rolled upgrades and new models. They want to sell high profit, F-150 trucks and claim #1 in sales for 25yrs running.
