    Several Warning lights coming on

Sounds like a low battery. These vehicles are sensitive to low battery voltage.

2021 XLT FX4 with Co-Pilot360 Assist Front Parking Sensor locations?

Typical reasons for calling an Expedition a "truck" include: 1. It's a body on frame vehicle based on the F150 2. It's available with a low range transfer case 3. It's rated to tow 9100 lbs 4. It's heavier than most unibody cross-over SUV's I also have a F350 6.7 PSD, and I agree it has the...

    2022 Expedition Order Guide attached

Has anyone been able to determine if LED projector headlights are available on the higher trim levels of the 2022 Expedition? The only references that I can see are for LED reflector headlights. The F150 lower trim levels come with the LED reflectors, and the higher trim levels are available...

‘18 Navi Reserve passenger seat moving by itself

Seat control module? Do your memory seat settings work normally? Everything is run via canbus in these trucks, so when a module fails perhaps it could cause your issue. Looks like a $200 part on TascaParts.com...

How many owners out there with no major issues?

Update on my oil leak issue. When they replaced the cam phasers, apparently Ford doesn't pay to replace the valve cover seals around the spark plugs and one of the seals was leaking after they reassembled it with the original seals, but it didn't show up right away. Dealer pulled the...

How many owners out there with no major issues?

36,000 miles on our 2018 Expedition. I really like the vehicle for our needs and wish I could say it's been perfect. Primary issues are fit/finish including squeaks and rattles around the driver's door area. Had the cam phasers replaced about a month ago under warranty due to cold start...

    B-Pillar Interior Trim

Have you tried isolating the cause by wedging felt or cardstock around the edges, near joints with other panels, etc? If you can locate it, you may be able to resolve without removing the panel. We had a rattle in the driver's side B-pillar and I solved it by placing black felt between the...

    2022 Expedition Order Guide attached

I always assumed that the tracks that are embedded in the floor of the Odyssey that run perpendicular to normal seat tracks would make it tricky with a driveshaft located below the vehicle. Would be cool if someone could make it work though on the Expy!

    2022 Expedition Order Guide attached

Honda Odyssey's also don't have a driveshaft running down the middle, which makes it more difficult to add seat anchor hardware in the middle of the vehicle. I remember our Toyota Sienna with AWD was only configurable with 2nd row captains chairs for this reason since it had a rear driveshaft...

    Brake Caliper slide pin seized

Just a heads up for those of us in the salt belt. I was putting new brake pads on my 2018 Expedition and noticed that one of the front caliper slide pins was seized. I was able to loosen it and lubed it up with silicone so that it moves freely now. I ordered a new slide pin and rubber boots...

    2022 DVD system

Wonder if the dealer would be willing to install it after the fact when it becomes available if you make it part of the deal?

    RWD Only in Snow

I've messed around in the snow with my Nokian snow tires on in RWD before engaging 4Auto. You can get around, but you have to be more deliberate about starting off on a grade in snow with light throttle inputs. You also don't want to engage your rear locker if so equipped since both rear...

Negative Offset Wheels DO Fit Without Modifications

Another purpose is pedestrian safety to avoid the tires from dragging a person under the vehicle in a situation that would have otherwise been a glancing blow. That's why it's a legal issue in PA to have tires that stick out past the body of the vehicle.

    Expedition ST?

It's interesting how the packages on the Expedition don't follow the F150 and Super Duty packages. My Expedition Limited would be like a Lariat F150/Super Duty. A Limited F150/Super Duty is a step above the Platinum. Would be nice if Ford was consistent.

Negative Offset Wheels DO Fit Without Modifications

To each his own... Wheels that stick out are hard on wheel bearings and throw debris at the rocker panels. Cops in PA would also pull a vehicle like this over and give a ticket for lack of fender flares. It also wouldn't pass annual state inspection.

Tire Pressure for Beach (deep soft sand)

I have run 15 psi successfully on the beaches of the Outer Banks in NC with no issue. I did air up right away before driving on pavement. I see some people driving a few miles on paved roads without airing back up and it seems like an issue waiting to happen.

    Question about 4WD Auto characteristics

In 4A, the front hubs are locked and the front driveline is spinning, so it's normal in the Expy to feel the "coarse" feeling that is being described. This allows the transfer case to engage as needed to engage the front wheels. I almost always drive in 2H to avoid this issue unless the roads...

2022 HD Tow not available on XLT MAX 4x4 (K1J)

Most dealers will update your order code if you ask. Order Code 19 is populated by default and Order Code 10 is the best for retail orders. I just went through this with my 2022 F350 order. Also keep in mind that the order code only changes the priority of orders entered from your dealer.

    Oil Dripping From Intercooler Tube

You're sure some oil didn't get spilled while changing oil or perhaps you have an oil leak up higher on the engine someplace? Seems odd that the whole outside of the elbow is covered. Have you pulled the elbow to see how much oil is on the inside? I run a catch can which helps capture the...

    Aftermarket Rear Media

Interesting that Ford doesn't upgrade the RES to the Voxx units that you are using since Voxx is the OEM supplier for the Ford RES.

    2022 Expedition Order Guide attached

If you search the order guide .pdf for the term "radiator", the Heavy Duty Radiator appears to only be included as part of the Timberline Package as noted on page 13. Seems odd that Ford would require anyone that wants the benefits of the Heavy Duty Radiator for towing to have to select the...

Disable 3rd Row Seat Recline Buttons

Disconnecting these recline switches shouldn't affect the separate buttons in the cargo area that collapse the seats for hauling cargo.

Disable 3rd Row Seat Recline Buttons

The buttons in question only allow the rear seat passengers to recline the seats as needed. My kids are older and love this feature! The buttons that collapse the seat are in the cargo area.

Has anyone had FSA 21N08 reflash done yet?

I had the 21B10 reflash today. No shudder, but it still has the cam phaser rattle. Dealer ordered the parts to replace the cam phasers and will schedule replacement when the parts arrive. Has anyone been able to confirm if the new parts are an improved design, or will I be dealing with the...

    Cracked windshield - Warranty?

I learned the Safelite lesson on a prior vehicle when they put a nice slice/gouge in the paint on my fender from one of their knife blades.
