Trans shifting problem
My trans won't go past drive. It will not go to 2nd or 1st. It is not the 2 bolts, or the shift tubes, or the cable. I took cable off and the trans won't go past Drive. Anyone have any thoughts? Can it be fixed in vehicle?- oldjeeps

Sounds like a lifter????
My 2000 with 5.4 rattles around 3000 rpm. Not lower or higher. Sounds like a lifter. Wouldn't a lifter be more broad in rpm range? Any ideas? Help me please.- oldjeeps
