I just installed a transmission temp gauge and the temp stays at 140 F I just did a fluid flush and the outside temp is 20-25 F Does that sound right?- ASIANREDNECK

E04D 4r100 and Mercon V?`
Ok totally confused about this. My dip stick says Mercon only. Dealer is telling me Mercon V. My owners manual says do not use Mercon V. Called ford headquarters they say I can use Mercon V. What. 99 EB transmission and rear end.
I'm new to this site. totally confused about fords setup. I have a 99 Ford Expedition 2WD 5.4 Eddie Beaur edition. Anyone know what type of transmission comes on it? The car has 140k miles.
