Speaker wiring on a '97 Expy XLT
Can I get this adapter in any audio store, and what should I call it? What would you suggest I do for a new, good head unit (Pionerr 50x4, .mp3 player)? Should I just forget about the amp? Would it sound better with or without it?- White Knight

I couldn't take the stock radio anymore and instead bought a Poineer DEH-P6700MP CD/MP3 player. I'm decent at installinging, so why not do it myself? Remote alarm and CD changer don't work
Just found out the problem with the CD changer. I put a CD in to test it, and it doesn't read it. I mean, it spins and everything, but after about 10 seconds it'll go to the next and finally it'll say "No CD". Could it be dirty? Remote alarm and CD changer don't work
The owner I bought it from said he changed the button batteries in the remote, but still nothing. He said it used to work, then it just stopped. Neither unlock, lock, or panic work. Any ideas? As for what's wrong with the CD, I dunno. The radio and tape player work, but the guy said the CD...- White Knight

Remote alarm and CD changer don't work
Just picked up a '97 XLT today. Two things don't work at all. The factory remote door opener/alarm, and the CD changer. Could it be just a fuse? If yes, where's the one for the alarm? Thanks for any help in advance, guys!- White Knight

how many miles are too many?
Well, I hope 160k miles isn't too much, because I just bought (I pick it up next week) a 5.4 4x4 1997 XLT with that many miles for $6,000. It needs nothing, except a fix on the remote door opener. I'm hoping for the best. But how can you tell?- White Knight

Expedition differences - Newbie alert!
OK, I'm gonna ask some very stupid questions, but please bear with me, I'm new to these trucks. :) Anyway, next week I'll be picking up a 1997 XLT with the 5.4 litre engine.
