rearend whining again!!!!
Well with less than 8,000 miles on my new factory installed rear end it has started whining again. I noticed it on vacation this past week. The dealer said it was warantied for 12 months so off the the shop we go. 2003 EB 4x4- Rfreels

rattle at start-up?
Is a slight rattle that lasts for two seconds or so normal at start-up? 2003 5.4 with 50,000 miles, 5w30 Penzoil with Motorcraft filter. Fresh oil change did not help.- Rfreels

Air ride or not?
How can I tell if my '03 EB 4x4 has air ride? It has a switch in the luggage compartment. Looking under the rear I see coil springs and a shock.- Rfreels

Rearend whine '03
My '03 with 44,000 miles that I recently purchased developed a whine beginning at 40mph and continues through the upper speeds. I had Ford replace the rear with a ring gear and pinion set along with all the seals and bearing that go with it. My question is has Ford fixed the problem or will this...- Rfreels
