    Its finally fixed, just to update anyone else having this type problem. went through and replaced all 8 cop boots and it runs as good as it did new. all but two boots looked good no crackes or anything. two of the were weathered bad one actualy broke in half when removing it.

    Update. well we changed the computer and it did fix the a/c problem. the miss is still there, not as bad but still there. under normal easy acceleration its smooth. take off fast it misses. ideling in park smooth. it is not showing a cel and no codes are stored as fixing to come up. could it be...

    Hi all, Still have not figured out the #6 misfire on the 02. but a new problemed surfaced over the weekend that has me thinking maybe its the pcm dying out. The a/c stoped working, well it will work for about 15sec after you first start the engine. so i got ready for a long day of chasing down...

    coil is getting fire. i took an old coil and plug, hooked it to the harness and it was firing the plug. the noid light showed a good pulse for the injector.

    02 5.4 with 110k. check codes shows #6 missfire. changed coil, plug, injector. still shows miss fire, checked injector with noid light. swapped everything from #1 to #6. miss stays at 6. the engine has a slight miss at idle and through out driving range. if you floor it it will try to smooth out...
