Hi all, Still have not figured out the #6 misfire on the 02. but a new problemed surfaced over the weekend that has me thinking maybe its the pcm dying out. The a/c stoped working, well it will work for about 15sec after you first start the engine. so i got ready for a long day of chasing down a leak, well hooked gauges up and there showing a good charge, well now im thinking a high pressure or cycling switch. checked both found them in good working order. Tried jumpering them one at a time and both at same time, still no a/c. ran a jumper straight to the compressor and a/c works great. removed the control knob and checked for power coming to the switch going from the switch through the high side and cycle switch, it all has power. hook everything back and no a/c. looking at the manual it shows pcm does something in the a/c harness just before going to compressor, so. i ran a jumper from the switch on the dryer to the compressor and i have a/c and it works on the control inside. So, is the pcm gone out? could this be the cause of the #6 missfire seeing as there both controlled by the pcm. i have checked everything i can except the computer. as for the #6 misfire i have chamged everything on that cyl. and swaped it with others no change and compression is good. what am i missing. thanks guys

Maybe the wire in the harness that controls the AC has a break in it?

Update. well we changed the computer and it did fix the a/c problem. the miss is still there, not as bad but still there. under normal easy acceleration its smooth. take off fast it misses. ideling in park smooth. it is not showing a cel and no codes are stored as fixing to come up. could it be a cloged fuel injector now. i went through and unpluged all coil packs one at a time while running and it changes engine on all 8.
