    Fuel capacity in 05 Expedition XLT

    Ok, the book says it has a 28 gallon tank. I filled up over the weekend and when I pulled into the lot the needle was on "E" and the fuel light just came on. I put 21.8 gallons of gas in. Does it really have approx 6 gallons for reserve?

    I have not checked for a fuse because the port on the passenger side of the console works just fine, it's only the one on top that is not working.

    The cigarette lighter power source is not working. I would imagine either a wire is off or I just need to replace it. I am not sure the best way to remove, or at least get into, the console. Any suggestions?

    Yours only had 2 from the factory? Did you replace with the 94306?

    I will be the first to admit I'm ignorant about this but.....what is the advantage/disadvantage between the 2? And, they can replace both the left and right converters with the identical 94306's?

    Where did you get the 2 magnaflows (94306)? I see autozone.com has a "universal" magnaflow converter for 91.99 (99055HM). Only a 3 month warranty though.

    If I took my wife, she'd just want them to cut it off and replace it with a straight pipe. lol She doesn't see the point in having a converter.

    I have this exact issue with my '05 Expedition. I just took it into the shop this morning. I will wait for the service rep to call me back but will mention the reflash of the computer.
