After getting the quote from Tom's and the shipping would have killed me, I shopped and work with a local DS shop specializing in Big Rigs. They were able to get the parts thru Splicers and we worked it out so an exact fit could be made for the Duals.. I think the cost was 400 or 450 I...
Worn hub actuators will not damage your wheel hubs.. Long term use of worn IWE will damage your transfer case as the front drive shaft is engaged while driving in Gen2.
I would remove the front CVs and drive it until you get your replacement hub actuators...

Yes you will need to install the brake line kit and a new front DS. But this is included in the lift kit.
I went beyond that and installed a double/double cardan rear shaft to minimize the pinion angle even further. Although not required, it was something I wanted to explore...
Took me almost 2 weeks to install on my own. Mainly because I had to do this right after work until sunlight was gone.
There is some grinding on the rear portion, other than that, installation is a piece of cake.
Even with the diff plate issue... I have no regrets doing the lift..

Congrats!! on your 8" :)
One PIA, my greatest pet peeve is try changing your rear diff fluid... Notice that you cant remove the rear plate because of the lift... You'll be looking at least as day or 2, striping down your rear, just to be able to remove the plate..
What I now do, is... If I...
You also need to mention that the half shafts will be stressed due to the increase in angle.
Anything past 3" will require a suspension left so that the proper geometry in parts are retained. Unfortunately... Anything past a Gen2 will not have any suspension lefts available AFAIK...
+2 with Tony call fox... I have front Radflo with remote reservoirs and had to work with them to find the correct bolt patterns and travel distance..
A bit of due diligence and PIA up front with the vendor will make installation of custom shocks painless...
Could be IWE solenoid or Hub actuators.. Replace the IWE solenoid first (fast and cheap fix)... Common issue with F150s/Expeditions... If replacement of IWE does not work, vacuum test the front Actuators with vacuum pump...
:head3:
Sorry... I never had an issue... Maybe try removing the clip, and reinsert to rule out that the clip is the issue... Other than that.. never had an issue :(
:head3:
That sucks... Its easy to install.. Just very time consuming... Took me around 2 weeks of doing it when I return from work.. I was in no rush..
I have no regrets :)
