    Look for a 7-pin connector to confirm the HD Tow Package. To get the max towing rating you will need a weight distributing hitch, too.

    Not that I know of. All I have are 2 OEM fobs, with a key. No push button start. The horn beeps, then honks for a short period of time and stops.

    What can I do to stop this? I don't see anything in any of the settings menus on the vehicle. There must be a way to turn it off or make it less sensitive. Any help or suggestions are welcome. This is getting kind of annoying and I sure my neighbors are going to be pissed if it continues...

    Tow package question

    My guess is that if you don't have a 7 pin connector, you do not have the HD Tow package (which includes the trans cooler). I would hesitate to tow anything over 6000 lbs.

    QuickJack on a MAX

    I believe the weight you mentioned for the max is gross vehicle weight rating. The curb weight is around 5500 lbs, give or take. That is what the QuickJack weight rating is using.

    newusername: I have the same exact QuickJack setup as you. Do you have the truck adapters to use on your Expedition, or something else? I'm deciding whether I should just get the adapters, before I try my 2016 Expedition on it. It works great on my 2013 Taurus SHO and 2011 Corvette Grand Sport.

    You should not have a problem with the hitch setup that came with the vehicle. I've towed 2 different Corvettes with my old 2006 Expedition, with HD tow package, with no problems. You just need to get the correct ball and receiver, and also the correct drop. Check the height of the trailer...

    2003 Cranks but will not fire

    Like riphip said, likely the fuel pump driver. I had the exact same issue a few years ago. Dealership had a difficult time getting it changed, the driver is made from a different metal than where it was mounted, so it was fused to the mounting point.

    04 Tranny lines leaking. (part numbers)?

    The tranny lines on my 2006 were leaking at the radiator. The clips to hold them to the radiator were also bad, so the lines AND radiator needed to be replaced. Cannot get the clips only. Make sure to check the clips.

    Were the codes a P030x code? If you remember which cylinders were throwing the codes (P0301 is cylinder 1, P0308 is 8), try swapping those coil packs with ones that did not throw a code. If the packs are the issue, and the CEL comes back on, it should be different that the original codes. I...
