Clicking sound from behind the dash

Thanks. I put all the 2 screws back in and tighten it. But I will give it a try and double check/tight. Bernard.

Clicking sound from behind the dash

OK... there are some gremlins inside my A/C:(. Had the clicking for several years now, when I change the temp. Once I took it apart and saw some teeth broke but didn't want to wait for the replacement, with everything dissembled, so I tried the reversed "shaft" method - didn't work... was still...

    Power running board is shot

Well… As I said, my driver’s side would retract but wouldn’t fold back. It looked like something isn’t moving smoothly - as if something is stuck. The motor start to move and timidity go into reveres… Any way. I didn’t want to spend $1000+ so I took it (the all step + the motor) off the...

Well… have you solved it? I have exactly the same problem – to the letter… :-(

    Transmission Problem

I think so - just before coming to a complete stop, there's a "bang", when the transmission switches to first… So, you’re saying I need to reflash the ECM?

    2010 EL 3/2” lift + 35" + Tuner - pics

Yes. this is one option, but you still have to deal with the lower arm rubbing the half-shaft, on full drop..

    2010 EL 3/2” lift + 35" + Tuner - pics

And to make things worst, at list for me.. All the front kits that I see, involve with cutting parts of the frame – I'm not so keen about cutting things. You can not get back , if it doesn't work…

    2010 EL 3/2” lift + 35" + Tuner - pics

Even without the rear - with 3", I'm not so happy with the front half-shafts angle... I would prefer that the front axle would be lowered too... Today I dissemble the front wheels and took a good look at the front suspension and steering, at varies positions - in full drop, the half-shaft...

    2010 EL 3/2” lift + 35" + Tuner - pics

Too complicated.. The other option is to install an F-150 front lift kit (assuming it will fit) including lowering brackets for the lower arms and Knuckles but they go at list 4" and it is too high, for my opinion...

    2010 EL 3/2” lift + 35" + Tuner - pics

Not at all. I'm starting to look for options on how to weld cast iron... this is, definitely, not a DIY project... I know it can be done, because I saw it on the Rough Country F-150 lift kit installation manual... An Expedition/F-150 knuckle is about $50-$70 (eBay) - have no idea...

    2010 EL 3/2” lift + 35" + Tuner - pics

OK. I think it is final… OK. I think it is final… The 2007-on Expedition and the latest generation F-150 have the exact Knuckles/spindles. It is Ford part number 3K186 LH and 3K185 RH - it is the same for 2x4 and for the 4x4 versions. There for, it is the same height and will not solve the...

    Radio/Nav swap

Thanks. You (me, in that case.. :-) ..) see what you want to see..- I thought the Kennwood was one option and maybe he went with another one. What I would like to see/find is something chipper than those prim-expensive companies…

    2010 EL 3/2” lift + 35" + Tuner - pics

I totally agree. The bal joint angle, in offroad, is just a accident waiting to happen - That is why I spend so much time to get the information regarding the F-150.. I don’t see how the F-150 alone will give any lift. I think it will only change the Lower-to- Upper arms angle – the lift...

    2010 EL 3/2” lift + 35" + Tuner - pics

Well, it sounds good but… If it’s the lift you’re aiming for, why not going with the 3/2 or 2/1 or 2.5/1.5 or any other spacers out there – much cheaper and easy too…

    Strange Electrical Issue

I have a Range Rover (P38 – which are notorious for electrical problems/gremlins) and it does some of the things you have mentioned, when the battery is about to die.. And all of a sudden, while you try to figure how to approach the problems, it dies on you… replacing it solves all the problems...

    2010 EL 3/2” lift + 35" + Tuner - pics

What year, for the F150? Which year have the same part number? Could you put a link? I hope next week or the week after, I'll go to a local junk yard and try finding a used F-150 knuckle and upper A arm - see if it will fits..

    Power running board is shot

I think that it is the same power boards, factory and aftermarket. The only deferent is the installation points, the length of the boards and the open/close points - and it’s all tunable. In the worst case, use just the motors or even better, buy just the motor from an aftermarket dealer, as a...

    Radio/Nav swap

Can you upload some pics? Mine is a 2010 EL Eddie Bauer with factory nav and ceiling rear DVD. I would like to replace my factory nav/radio but want to keep the Sync and all the other factory controls (steering wheel and, if possible, the rear DVD). Is it even possible? Is there a way to do that?

    F150 Vs Expedition?

Look at the tread “2010 EL 3/2” lift + 35" + Tuner – pics”, page 2 and on – the steering knuckles of the 2010 F-150 and the 2007-on EXPY are the same… BUT But they are of the 2X4 F-150…

    2010 EL 3/2” lift + 35" + Tuner - pics

Where do take the parts measurements? And what about the upper/lower arms, are those the same too (for the the F-150 and the EXPY)? Looking at the pics you posted, by the looks of the shafts on both trucks, it does seams like the F-150 is a bit “lifted” than the EXPY..Other than that, from...
