Used Denso plugs on my Voyager, before I had to get rid of it. Things were good. Especially for doing long runs. Lots of Denso stuff in that old bike when I had to get rid of it.- Willshooter3

I did! And I'm glad I did! Even if I had a local garage (SHOP LOCAL! SHOP SMALL!) do it for me. If I can figure out how to post good quality pics, I will post one of the "bad" plug outta number 8. That one came apart.- Willshooter3

Thanks- Understand- COME TO TEXAS! We have no state income tax and amended state constitution so it NEVER happens. Yeah. Getting good parts massive. Local shop had advised me to avoid the "39.95 ebay coil sets." He kinda showed me the difference between quality coils and some he had in box that...- Willshooter3

Okay. Picked her up about an hour ago. Wow. All I can say. Wow. Motorcraft plugs, yes, American coils and wow. Rear coils were toast. Trainmaster, why the negativity man?- Willshooter3

I have several coils reading bad. Misfires. And most of them are factory coils. Think I will risk it.- Willshooter3

The plugs have never been changed. So. I sent it to a trusted local shop. Probably the best thing to do? Changing all the coil packs as well.- Willshooter3

Coil packs....
Alrighty. So. 2006 Expedition XLT, dreaded 5.4 3V, I have a random miss and it makes the truck drive like @#)$(@)#$*. I am considering changing ALL the coil packs. That said, and I already know I'm gonna catch hell, which coil packs are the best to use. I've replaced a couple in the past and...- Willshooter3

What oil/filter do you use?
Had been running Motorcraft oil and filters. Couldn't get what I needed anywhere locally, needed to change my oil, used Quaker State Semi-Synthetic hi-mileage and a Fram Ph2 filter. That was a lot cheaper, I am interested to see what it looks like in 6,000 miles.- Willshooter3

New flywheel
Had to have a flywheel put on Ruby Red... 220K on the clock. New starter, new flywheel... Under $1,000 out the door. First major repair she's had to have.- Willshooter3

Question about plugs
Okay. I will not say I have read ALL of the threads/posts/bulletins..etc... about the crappy plugs in our ride. But, I will say that I spent a lot of time pouring through them. So here's my question. Will it help to gradually start spraying the carb cleaner into the plug wells ahead of time...- Willshooter3

Just old, stale gasoline that's been sitting in the tank for... well, let's just say a while. Need to burn it out, fill the tank with premium and see where I get with that. Seafoam will not hurt.- Willshooter3

Back from the shop. Bad wiring harness on the plugs and the injector.. bad gas cap (wth?) and we’re on the road. Now. About these demonic plugs...- Willshooter3
