4wd Vacuum Hub Line
I have managed to disconnect my drivers side vacuum line for my 4wd actuator hub.. It is the skinny one and came disconnected somewhere over the shock tower. I can’t find the other end to reconnect. Does anyone know where the connection is located or from where it draws its vacuum?- WhiteFalcon

I think I have found the cause and wanted to post so that it might help somebody in the future with a similar issue. I would say that it is more of a slip. I do have some forward thrust when it happens. The solenoids were replaced during the rebuild. I guess it’s possible that I got a bad one out of the box.- WhiteFalcon

Mine switch has only two prongs, so it was pretty simple. No idea what the third prong would even do. It is a simple two pole switch.- WhiteFalcon

Hot air conditioning!
My ac went out (pressures normal and clutch would not engage) and it turned out to be the high pressure switch. Jumped it with a wire and it is working fine. (Until I can get the switch changed out this fall once the weather cools off a bit.- WhiteFalcon

Power loss
Do you have a code scanner? Does the throttle position warning come up when you go to start it? I just went through something similar and it turned out that the connector to my throttle position sensor was bad. Changed it and that fixed it.- WhiteFalcon

What did you do to the expy today
In past three months: New timing chain, phasers and tensioners New Oil Pump New hoses New plugs and coil packs (only broke one) Changed out bad COP connector and TPS connector Rebuilt Throttle Body. Air Conditioning PCM Control
Ok. Finally solved it. After checking all the wiring, it turns out to be a faulty connector plug for cylinder one. Changed it with a new one ($29.00 for Motorcraft plug - Ouch) and the misfired is gone and the ac works. Thank you to everyone who helped out. I appreciate all your advice.- WhiteFalcon

The high and low side pressures are a little under 100 lbs static. I have not running pressures since the pcm won't let the compressor turn on. The pressures are good and I can get it to run by grounding the 30 prong on the ac clutch relay. So I am suspecting that the pcm is not commanding a ground for the relay as it should. My ac stopped working and I traced it back to the pcm failing to issue a ground command to the clutch relay. Is this a common issue and do I need to replace the pcm? I don’t see any issues with the wiring from the relay back to the pcm.- WhiteFalcon

With 432,000 miles, you sir, are an inspiration.... Great work! As to synthetic oil, I'm a firm believer. I've put over 200k on three different cars (Expy, Toyota and Mazda) on a diet of synthetic changes every 7,500 miles. The stuff just works.- WhiteFalcon

I agree with Black. Check your alternator output voltage. Not enough output can cause the computer to do strange things. I had a car once refuse to shift out of third. Thank you for the tip on the dryer. I will change it out. I bought the truck in 2016 so I don't know its history prior to that point. So it is always possible that the system has had leaks in the past or parts changed without a complete vacuum down. That would leave moisture for in there...- WhiteFalcon
