    P04DB

....coils... I had to replace Autozone's coil brand DuraLast twice in three months due to poor quality. Always buy the Motorcraft! The DuraLast Chinese option is a waste of frustration, money and time.

Just picked up 2024 Limited MAX

So now you get to mod it out! That is the fun part. The first thing I did to my 2023 limited stealth performance star white with gloss black trim was to apply PPF on the front to avoid paint chips. I do much 80+ mph interstate driving, and rocks are flying up to twice that speed. This is...

    Front seats travel track covers??

Thanks guys. I thought so but hoped there was something to cover it. The interior of the Limited looks so fine and plush and the exposed worm gears just cheapens it a bit.

    Front seats travel track covers??

Could someone please check your front seat travel tracks where the worm screw is located to see if it is exposed? There is no cover or trim piece covering the screw on my 2023 Limited. We use our seats fully back which exposes the greased worm screw observed in the attached photos. This doesn't...

    CD player/USB interface..

I have hundreds of artists stored as .wma files. The music quality is good but with the sound systems available today, older quality becomes obsolete quickly. My files can be played via USB and loaded (played) by artist, genre, alphabetical order or album. Most label data as artist and title are...

    2024 Expedition Limited on order

The Weathertech mud flap/splash guards are fitted for the running boards. They work great at keeping road crap from coating the mechanisms. The Weathertech's are easy to put on and look great.

    70mph + vibration

If it has the General Grabber tires and sat parked for a period of time, it could have developed flat spots on the tires as well.

    Should I Buy a 2024 Expedition?

I recently purchased a 2023 limited SPP after putting 150k miles on a 2017 Expy. The major issues we have all read about (and dealt with for some) are largely cleaned up in the 2022 referb. Since I have only 2k miles on the new vehicle, I can't speak of long-term issues but so far, I have NO...

General Grabber tires on brand new 22 Expy

I was surprised by the lack of choice in tire size with the 4th gens of the upper trim levels. I like a vehicle worthy of offroad travel and when I began Expy shopping, I learned the only wheel size option was 22" for what I was looking for. The Expeditions we used in mountainous geologic work...

    Ceramic Coating vs PPF

Nice! Yeah, it depends on the marketplace. In rural northern Nevada along interstate 80, not much choice. I have to drive 3 hours to Twin Falls ID to get it done at a reasonable cost.

General Grabber tires on brand new 22 Expy

Reviving an older thread, but at first I was disappointed that my 2023 limited SPP came with Grabbers. After about 2k miles, they are quiet, comfortable and seem to do the trick just fine. As others have stated, I will keep the Grabbers for a while and see what comes. There is still not a huge...

    CD player/USB interface..

I have done the same... copy all my music on a small thumb drive and it is inserted in the front console. As Mr Big says, can sort, mix and alphabetize artists and albums. Hell, I remember the days when it was an expensive option to just have a radio installed... Never had to deal with the crank...

Auto Start, Shift to Park then Restart Engine error

From what I have gathered on this forum, the only way to disable it is through Forscan. No? What year and model is this OP?

    Ceramic Coating vs PPF

The protective film is a must for high-speed interstate driving especially with the higher speed limits out west. Just too bad it costs an additional $grand+ after plopping down a fist full of money on vehicle purchase!!

    TWO YEAR REVIEW

I just traded in my 2017 Limited on a 2023 Limited SPP. My '17 was up to 150 k miles with only a left front wheel bearing go out ($1,500 fix) at 125 k miles. Other than that, it was a reliable and pleasurable vehicle. Changed oil at 7,500-10,000 mile intervals and still plenty of acceleration...

Exhaust Noise - seems too loud

I have the SPP 304a and I love the purrrrrrrr it makes at low speed. When I accelerate on the highway, it sounds wonderful!! The kitty purrrrr turns into a lion's roar!! Hell, I'm 18 again!!

    Ceramic Coating vs PPF

It is amazing stuff the way it heals. I am hesitant to drive interstate miles until I get the front done. On my wife's 2015 Venza, after 7 years, it still looks new and shiny after 75 k miles. This Icon Rocklear stuff zeecar mentions above sounds too good to be true.

    Horn Sounds weak

Might be worthy of a physical check using a flexible metal probe. I have seen paper and mud wasps build nests in a matter of days in the horn!

Ford Pass App - New Version

My FordPass interface is what OP posted although I don't have the "Enter New FordPass" though. The current format works perfectly for me. Ford, please don't mess it up!!!

    22 Expedition Loud and Vibrates.

I have the '23 Limited with SPP. After reading these threads, I must say that so far, at 2000 mostly highway miles, it rides like a dream. Fit and finish is excellent and ride quality superior. I love the HO purr as it motors down the road!!

    Ceramic Coating vs PPF

I just purchased a '23 Limited SPP in star white. I love the white and gloss black and need to protect the front of the vehicle with PPF. I have appointment to do this in a week. I did not do PPF on my 2017 Expy and the front suffered many chips as a result. When I traded it in, it had many...

Ford Pass App - New Version

I just got my '23 Limited SPP in March and have been using Ford Pass. I could not find where to look for software version information. Did you find a version #? I like the organization of the app and like the interface, but still a bit uncomfortable with the entire electronic dependance of my...

    24 Trans. Question

I have not tried that. I really don't want to use sport mode in my everyday driving. The Expy had 500ish miles on it when I purchased it so there were many miles of different drivers to screw up the initial learn. I did not ask the dealership if they had reset this when I drove it off the lot...

CAI or drop in air filter, worthwhile?

I have been debating the cost of aftermarket CAIs for a few days now. Wondering about a higher air flow drop-in using the stock housing would be adequate for a SPP HO Raptor engine at higher elevations. I have used the AFE dry drop-in on past trucks and wondering if that would be adequate for...
