Its definitely a knock off brand vct.
I do have a new oil pump, again a knock off.
Would a bad vct/ phaser issue cause the cam codes? Crazy to think it loses that much oil pressure to drop the gauge to 0.
I went to parts store last night and found the kit I bought doesn't seem to be great...
2005 expedition 5.4. 204k.
Had new phasers about 30k ago.
Got a code, pulled into gas station and read it with my scanner. Had 2 stored and 2 pending, p0345 and 349.
Left there and went to store to buy new CPS. decided they were cheap enough and got 2.
Driving back, maybe 20 miles out, hear...
Looks pretty straight forward, but I can't find the first bit of info on YouTube regarding changing this seal, or the drivers side.
Anyone have any photos or how to videos?
