I find the FordPass app pretty convenient for starting the car, insuring the doors are locked, etc. Right now however, it only lists me; I'd like to add my wife so she has the same convenience. Has anyone figured out how to do this?
Thanks!
Hi David, welcome! I don't know the answer to your question, and maybe someone here might know the answer, but you might have better luck on the 3rd Generation forum.
dlcorbett, is yours 4wd pray tell? It would be nice to know 24-25 were potentially achievable in the future, though I'm not counting on it with 4WD and tow package.
Seems like an excellent opportunity for an after-market shop to refurbish the sealed units at a fraction of the cost, or to upgrade the factory LED bulbs.
I haven't driven anything but the CCD version, but I definitely want to echo the mild porpoising in some scenarios (particularly over the undulating concrete that is not uncommon on some Houston area roads). I actually thought it might be a deal-breaker at one point but over a long-trip I barely...
Zarga, maybe I can help with that; this is what we did for a long trip. I used a JBL Xtreme Speaker/Subwoofer. Now this was waaaaay oversized and waaaaaay overkill, as this has enough sound to fill up a decent-sized room, but it was what I happened to have on hand in a pinch and I didn't have to...
I learned how to drive on a Continental Mark V (which was the smaller of the Lincolns you could buy then). Staggering how big those old cars are now compared to modern cars. But oh what a smooth ride.
I got lucky I guess; I found a Ltd Max with 302a, tow package, 4WD, and RSE sitting on a lot; 6 miles on the odo so it wasn't a dealer-trade, but I went to one of those massive mega dealers.
John that's awesome! Clearly you've lived overseas, and I recognize the NSW as New South Wales so probably Sydney? Australia is one of my favorite countries in the world btw; I tried to move there back in 2008 but couldn't divest because of the economy, then I met my American wife a couple...
Definitely larger than the Acadia we came from, and feels that way. Parking is the real adjustment; even with cameras and sensors and top-down-view and automatic parking (which we haven't used yet lol), it still is an adjustment backing this behemoth into anything.
On the plus side, it's...
Although it's probably one of the safer aftermarket modifications, it's still a change I'm not willing to make on a brand-new 70K+ vehicle at this time :). Maybe later when I no longer have temp license plates :-). Everyone loves the after-market until *!@ starts breaking (though there's very...
I don't have the Fusion Hybrid anymore as I traded it in for the Acadia (not enough room for three car-seats). IIRC, I got 38MPG with it combined as well. I had the Titanium model which had a lot of features which made it pretty heavy.
All in all I wasn't happy with the car; had an engine...
Dang, I just realized I'm tied with the most cars under a particular brand I've owned with 3. The other marques where I've owned 3 cars are Nissan (Maximas, Altima) and Hyundai (Genesis x 3).
Someone in consumer relations needs to get with the program.
(For anyone curious, my other Ford purchases in my life have been a 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid and a 1999 Cobra).
