    The gauges show 110 and 110 approx. . . That would mean you compressor is not running, not turning, is beyond worn out, TXV on front and rear is stuck wide open. . . . I would double triple check that the compressor is even engaged.

    Sounds exactly like a starter relay going out. Go under the hood and locate the starter relay and swap it with another relay of the same type (usually AC relay). The fact it doesn't even attempt or even click really points to a relay issue, the shop changing out the starter twice is ridiculous...

    I had the same thing happen when I replaced my filter, It was twice as heavy and full of stuff. I would not worry about anything contaminating the other side of the filter, it did its job. Let us know how it goes with the replacement, I will be doing mine soon.
