    Moving on....

Was not a decision taken lightly and certainly not due to lack to trying to resolve the remaining issues. I wrench on my own vehicles where possible (change brakes, replaced front hubs, added the updated vacuum valve, sway bar upgrades, etc) but also not interested in holding on to a vehicle...

    Moving on....

Really debated another full size SUV, but ultimately purchased a new Toyota Sienna AWD. We have our F350 PSD for towing/hauling, so people moving was the top priority. Couldn't justify the $75K+ price on the full size SUV's and all the Pilot/Grand Highlander/Telluride mid sized SUV's were too...

    Moving on....

Very possible. But similar experience with multiple local Ford dealerships on the Expedition. Have had no issues with our F350. Ford extended warranty also isn't much use at third-party shops.

    Moving on....

With mixed feelings, we finally decided to send our 2018 Expedition with 60,000 miles down the road. Lots of things to like about it in terms of space, comfort, power, etc. There were just too many things that we couldn't resolve in terms of long term reliability even with the extended Ford...

    CD player/USB interface..

I 2nd the thumb drive idea, but if you really want a CD player, the 2018 models still had a CD player in the dash that you could likely retrofit into your 2020.

    Third Cam Phaser

I have trained my wife to hold the gas and brake upon starting for 3-5 seconds to get the oil pumped to the top of the engine before she takes her foot off the gas to let it start. Shouldn't have to do this, but figure it can't hurt

2022 Limited Stealth Beltline Chrome Delete RED!!!

Nice to see something original as others have mentioned. Maybe add the same red on the fog light bezels to tie everything together.

    Rear Defrost Tab and ESP

Our dealer used the conductive adhesive to reattach ours under warranty. Was a quick fix and seems fine.

    catalytic converter issue...again

Cat's failures can also be caused by coolant or oil in the exhaust that fouls the Cat, so be sure that there isn't another root cause.

    A quick service, into disaster!

When the IWEs are engaged, it causes more driveline noise as well, so I'd want it to function as designed. I rarely run in 4A for this reason since 2H is much quieter in my experience.

    2023 ANC

There is a dedicated Forscan section of this forum at the following link that should help answer some of your questions: https://www.expeditionforum.com/forums/forscan.111/

    E&R Console Lock Vault Installed

My 1911 with 4" barrel fits fine. 6" barrel would be fine too.

    E&R Console Lock Vault Installed

You drill holes in the bottom plastic of the console. The safe comes with metal brackets that slide under metal cross members under the console and sandwiches the safe in place.

Intelligent access of rear passenger side door stopped working.

Try replacing the battery in your key fob as a first check as well. It's possible the fob battery is weak.

Another issue on my '22 SPP

Likely alternator or battery related if the warning is for the charging system. If the vehicle is still running, I'd disable auto start/stop to reduce strain on the charging system.

2022 SSP totaled, what to do?

Not sure how much space you need, but maybe a slightly used Land Cruiser or LX570 would fit the price point if you're looking for alternatives to the Expy.

    ASS fails to restart vehicle

You can also disable ASS in Forscan if you prefer a software solution.

Oil changes at the Ford Stealership?

I use a set of ramps since it makes it easier to remove the skid plates and it also allows the oil from the filter area to only drain out the back port of the little catch tray. The first time I changed it without ramps, oil ran out in two places from the little oil filter drain catch tray.

    Moog front hubs any good?

Would gladly purchase a front Timken hub if it was available for the 4wd 4th Gens. Haven't seen any such animal though.

    Moog front hubs any good?

Guess we'll see what they send this time. Hopefully SKF or Timken bearings.

    Moog front hubs any good?

Yeah. You still get the normal drive line noise added to the equation when the front driveline is engaged & spinning in 4A. The bearing hub noise is still present when in 2wd.

    Moog front hubs any good?

Will do. They should arrive this week and I'll get them installed when I have some free time. I'll be interested to get the old hubs off to see how bad the bearings are.

Leaving running boards deployed - pros and cons

I use bicycle chain wax in a spray can. Goes on liquid and gets in all the bushings and firms up to keep out crud while still lubricating. 5 years in the salt belt and no issues so far.

    Moog front hubs any good?

Thanks. I'll probably go this route with Moog. I can't imagine they'd be any worse than the Motorcraft hubs. My Expy only has 50k miles, so not too impressed at this point with the Motorcraft hubs.
