Is the 2022 CCD same as earlier 4th Gen Expedition CCD (2018 model year)? Or is the Road Preview feature a new feature on top of the existing 4th Gen Expediton CCD?
Yes, it's in the dash settings under Vehicle Settings. I recall there being a Remote Start section where you can choose either "Last Setting" or "Auto" for climate settings when remote starting.
Thanks @caplanm. I replaced mine with a Costco AGM battery with same group size. Could be possible I received a bad battery but I'm not sure how likely that is.
My 2018 has been giving me issues with starting up recently. About once a month, it will crank for about half a second and then stop. Battery voltage will read 12v or less. I figured old battery, so I installed a new Interstate battery from Costco a few days ago. New battery's voltages were...
We have 3 kids with a regular expedition and captain chairs. There is almost no trunk storage if you have the 3rd row up. Given our experience, you could consider sticking with the regular length Expedition but with a bench seat 2nd row. That way you can fit all 3 kids in the 2nd row and fold...
I was considering purchasing these from Amazon but don't have any experience with them

I just happened to post a similar question with almost the exact same title last week haha!

I'm not sure if I have a limited slip. I have the tow package but it doesn't mention anything about an LSD. I also don't have any kind of LSD button. Do you know how I could check?
Is it really a unicorn spec? Makes sense now. I waited months searching for one of those every day and they were nowhere to be found within a three state radius.
Haha RWD is probably more common in the south! More than half of the Platinum Expeditions in Houston were only RWD when I was shopping and very rarely saw a 4WD with the tow package. I still regret not waiting for a 4WD Max with bench middle row.
Planning to do Denver for a few days and the rest of the week in Vail. I'm looking at purchasing the "Security Chain Company SZ451 Super Z6 Cable Tire Chain" on Amazon. Does anyone have any experience with these or have any recommendations on snow chains that work well with the 22" OEM...
Does anyone have experience with a RWD Expedition in snow conditions? Considering a road trip to Denver in March with my RWD Expedition. It has Michelin Defender LTX M/S and tow package. Any experiences or insight are appreciated!
Does anyone know of any way to disable the 3rd row's seat recline buttons on both sides? Or a clever way to block them? I have two car seats in there for my toddlers and they are constantly playing with the buttons. It's driving me nuts. Thanks in advance.
Happy to report that the ride quality has improved quite a bit! This is my wife's daily and she mentioned (without me asking) the tires are a lot more comfortable. The tires feel much more compliant compared to the factory Hankooks with 20k miles. The small harsh bumps on the street near my...
Same near my house. When I had 10k miles on my Hankooks, they said they could credit me around $250 if I purchased a new set with them. May go that route.
Anyone else upgrade to the Michelins? I'm on the fence to upgrade because my Hankooks only have 20k miles on them but feel like I'm missing out on better ride quality and less noise!
I have two Clek Foonfs in the 3rd row and highly doubt I can fit a 3rd. In a previous rental Expedition, we could fit 3 car seats side by side in the 2nd row with bench configuration. I HIGHLY recommend taking a look at a MAX for the extra trunk space because when you have the 3rd row up in a...
