Interesting.. so Max and/or 4x4 must provide more payload with less overall towing? My 2019 is very close to yours (4x2, and non-Max) with 1670:

Ford’s doc’s state to get max tow weights requires WDH... good luck explaining that to the cops and/or insurance

Tongue weight varies 10-15% of GTW, so its entirely possible for you to be over 630 at max loaded weight, so yes I would get a WDH.
What is the Payload on the yellow sticker on your driver side door? That’s what you need to go by. I’d also question the tongue weight estimate. Did you factor in the battery and Propane tanks? That can add upwards of ~100 pounds to the tongue.
I’d be surprised if your payload was 1926. What’s the yellow sticker say? Thats the actual payload from factory.
For the OP, Expedition’s will run out of Payload before trailer weight. You have to consider what is added to the Expedition and any persons, animals, or items added in your...
FYI, if anyone is looking for the replacement LED bulbs, Amazon has them 40% off:

I’d recommend checking the payload numbers. These & typically the F150’s run out of payload before towing capacity. Example. My 2019 XLT is 1650. Trailer + family/dog etc uses about ~1350 payload. WDH is another ~100, so 200 left for growing kids + any other gear in the Expy.
If I had to guess, they probably will now include it under standard warranty? Otherwise I would not expect them to keep updates free after that. They only post the updates once a year
I did the same a few weeks ago... and note each download appears to be locked to the ESN. Ie you can’t take this same update and apply to other SYNC3 systems which you may own. (Ask me how I know.. ;)
Note towing capacity is not the first thing you run out of, its payload. You need to figure on how much weight you’d be adding to the vehicle with people, gear, etc + the tongue weight of the thing your towing..
Thanks. Yep it was because the trailer was selected. Thats not how my 2016 works despite being SYNC3 must be something in the newer software versions. All is good now. Thanks for the help. I’ll try search better next time too
I’ve not been able to track this down in the menu, but I cannot figure out why my 2019 XLT starts on the Off Road screen and always has the cooled seats on. I have a 2016 F150 and I recall seeing a setting that you can set between last setting or something else. MyKey is not enabled, but I...
