    I replaced front bushing and brackets with new ones from Hellwig, still with the slots. I also used Moog endlinks and went with 46 lb/ft on the frame nuts and 59 lb/ft on the endlinks and have no more clunking.     You have both. You can reach in (when cold) and push on the wastegate actuator to stop the rattle.

    Update all versions of Ford Sync 3 to the latest Sync 3.4

    I performed this update and 3.4 is working great in the center screen. Does the mismatch in color palettes bug anyone else between the instrument panel and the center screen? Maybe I missed something, my instrument panel is still 3.0 "looking". Is this what would change with the APIM flash?

    Cold Start Rattle

    Closing the loop on this. Finally had time to take my truck in. I have the wastegate actuator rattle. Annoying but somewhat expected on this generation engine. The cam phaser issue is a much shorter duration and louder rattle. @NukeLife 's post is a prime example.

    Seems like there are multiple possible culprits. It’s not a loose heat shield, I checked that. I’ll schedule some time at the dealer, truck has <10k miles.
