The wheels and tires came off my old Expedition. My 2019 was totaled in May of 2022. It was easier to swap out the tires myself versus a tire shop putting the tires on the stock wheels. I may put the stock wheels back on when I need to replace the tires.
Used to use Waze. Now I use Apple Maps. It is much better now. It lets you know what lane to be in and give plenty of heads up before exits or turns. I've been pleased with it that past 1+ years that I have been using it.
When towing my camper, I use RV Life for longer new routes. I have only...
First, Put the jack under the front wheel and remove it. Then, Put the spare on that axle.
Next, put the jack under the rear tire that is flat. Last put the front tire on the rear that is flat.
Part of it depends on your gearing. It is my understating that I f you have HD Tow with the 3.73 rear end, you will get worse mpgs than if you have the 3.31 gears.
I don’t focus too much on city versus highway, but here is what I am estimating for my driving. 13 in city and while towing, 20 on...
This will be done in a 2022 Timberline, so it is a standard length. They do make a Max option. The guy I bought mine from might consider shipping from Northern VA. He works at a place that builds out Emergency vehicles — Police, EMT, Fire, etc. The owner decided to sell them instead of trashing...
Fortunately, I only hit one deer when I lived in Erie. Over on Millfair Road near 38th St. Despite going to Corry often to see a girl I was dating, I only hit a deer a few miles form home. :(
I guess I was lucky it was only one deer before I moved away.
My 2022 Timberline also has the HO engine. I had the Auto Start/Stop removed from the factory.
I did not custom order mine, but I don’t think it was removed due to the part shortage.
I got pulled into a big project at work and things have been hectic. I have not been able to start it yet. Hoping sometime after 11/8 I can start since that is when the RFP response is due.
Maybe the oil and transmission, but the front skid plate would go up behind your current front bumper. The Timberline has a different front end with a more aggressive approach angle.
I run 285/70 R18s of aftermarket wheels (+12mm offset versus stock 39mm offset) with zero rubbing issues. 295s would be close but probably not rub on normal driving. You would probably have issues upon flexing in certain situations.
Picture shows stock in the rear versus aftermarket in the front.
I didn't pay that close attention to notice the shift points.
I just used the same 114 mile route at the same time when there was very little traffic (3am) and used cruise on the highway. I was able to do it about 4 times each direction this summer and it was always within .1 mpg as per the...
I’ve done a few tests with my Timberline with both ECO and Normal modes. They appear to handle the same as well as provide the same MPG over the same exact routes. Not sure if it is due to the different engine and suspension, but I have seen no difference.
I know the modes work because I use...
Had this completed on Friday. After the re-program, it still showed the scrteen error and another one. They had to reset the instrument cluster, as well.
Now, no more errors and the Reverse Brake Assist works (although I have it turned off because it is too sensitive for me).
As HtownHog said, that is a MY23 option.
Can you share a screen shot of what you found? Also the steps to replicate the screen? I would be interested in seeing that.
There should be a setting to enable auto-fold mirror. I believe they are off from the factory. I cannot remember if it is a setting in the center cluster or instrument cluster. Probably the center cluster… maybe under Vehicle. I have the 15” screen, but I am not in front of mine. Maybe later, I...
They are different part numbers. I asked my local parts guy to look. We could not see anything too drastic between them but the bolton points may be slightly different between them.
I am not 100%, but I thought I saw someone look and say the front Timberline skid plate is the same part number...
