I towed a 25’ Bigfoot trailer with a weight and size very similar to your trailer. A 2020 XLT “standard “ Expedition with the HD tow package. I was at the upper limit on all of the recommended towing limits. In order to keep the tongue weight below about 850#, I had to load the trailer heavy...
Been using these. They do a decent job and aren’t very expensive.
The price you see is per mirror. You need two.

Our ‘20 with the heavy duty tow package. It has a payload of 1,716#. We have 400# of people/dogs, 800# tongue weight,100# of stuff. The payload is our limiting factor and will likely be yours as well.
Only carry things in the car that you really need while driving
The rest goes in the trailer.
Thanks everyone.
I’ll be using the dealer installed Equalizer WDH.
There are two shank lengths available. 12” and 18”.
Looks like if I go with the 18” I’ll be ok. If I need another inch, or so, I’ll look at rotating the jack itself.
When you are close to a deal, tell them you want four key fobs instead of the usual two. These fobs cost you a lot but the dealership not much. Now you have one to use every day, one to use as a hide-a-key, another to keep safely at home, and the fourth just in case.
Thanks for the replies.
I’ve towed two smaller trailers at different time and was never very good at backing into tight spaces.
The one on order is a 25’ Bigfoot.
More practice is in order. :)
Have a 2020 Expedition. Trailer due in June.
I’m wondering about the pro-trailer backup assist.
Is it a great help? Just sort of OK? Or mostly useless?
Appreciate your opinion and tips for using it.
Thanks
