That's a very good question. I couldn't imagine what the cost would be. You could aways talk to an F&I Person at your neighborhood Ford dealer. Just give him the Vin# and he would let you know and pricing. That to me would be a good start. Or use the Ford app number and ask them. That may be...
That was a reasonable price. I don't understand the misdiagnose. Was the a/c not blowing cold to the rear? I would assume if the core was leaking freon the refrigerant would have leaked out.
Keep renewing that warranty. There are other anomalies that maybe could go wrong. Just keep receipts to show maintenance items that have been done. You can enter them on your Mobile Ford App. Ford repairs enter them also except if you change oil, cabin filters, Air filters and so on that aren't...
Your maintenance schedule is a key to the mileage you state. Keep on doing what your doing. I understand at this point in time updated phasers are sold as a complete kit. Less the guides and adjusters. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
How many on this site have had their Rear Evaporator replaced for a/c in the rear for leaking freon. My 2020 went out with 48k on it. Have Ford Protect that covers it. Just wonder what the price was for repair. My FP expires 12/26 and without a doubt will be renewing it for another 6 yrs...
Yes I did both along swaybars with end links. Also did front and rear shocks with Bilsteins. One front and one rear leaking. Didn't want Motorcraft shocks due to early failure of those.
I had front and rear swaybars replaced in 2024 with Hellwigs with end links. Expo xlt 2019. Independent shop. Took old parts with me. Decided afterwards rather than having them in my garage I took a sawzall to them took fit in my trash tote. I guarantee
they are not hollow Perhaps material used...
I hope it has ALL updated parts and no issues. What is the time frame for warranty? Is it 3yrs 36k for mileage? Good luck with the new Trans. Going with new is a much better way going forward. No pun intended.
The reason of concern was I had mine overhauled, 2020 xlt in June of 2025. I had 45k on it. I have Ford Protect which covered the repair with a $100 deductible. Shifting from lower range was all over the place. The ohaul ended that query.
Mine 2020 xlt had the same scenario. Ford replaced CDF drum and misc. Gaskets and seals for the valve body 6/25. Had Ford Protect warranty. Mine had 44k on it. Cost $100 and free rental. I don't tow or drive it like I stole it. They gave me $4200 on my app also. Good luck on yours.
Experienced the same issue with my 2020 Expedition XLT. Had the vehicle in and tested. No codes found but had the hesitation shifting when cold in the low speed shift range. Over haul was done 6/2025 with 45k. Covered under Ford Protect Warranty. Replaced all parts that you posted. Except for...
At that many miles.........the chain rotate the phasers. The new improved cam phasers can be purchased in a complete set (4). One might consider doing the chain guides and misc components and perhaps the water pump while at. All a preventive maintenance items.
I have a question regarding trans. How does it upshift when cold? Any delay in shifting when cold and clears up only to return after sitting over night? I had similar issues. Terrible gas mileage, erratic shifts when cold, to ME high temps and lacking the ability to get into 10th gear. Took in...
Has anyone experienced sync 3 not updating. Lagging 5 days. Have used scanning prompt and suggests try at your convenience. Able to update on my Fordpass but not on app in vehicle. Have had no issues using Wi-Fi at my home to connect to updates without any issues up till now. Anyone have had...
You are fortunate to not have any Trans issues. My 2019 experienced a Trans issue at 46k just recently. Had Ford Protect warranty which covered a tear down and replacement of CDF DRUM and other components. I drive very conservatively. So at this time I might say consider yourself, lucky!
Ford on my Ford Pass estimated 9000 miles left till needed to be changed. I'm not sure what calculations they are using. I generally have the dealership change the O&F every 3500 miles. Weird.
An apparent issue is when cold and driving off. If there is a lull in shift ( flat spot or hesitation ) between 3 and 5 inwhich mine did it was o hauled.
To stay on topic. Perhaps googling a incar factory reset to the computers in vehicle. I am not sure of the procedures that are entailed in the process. Although, I did see one for a freezing of info on the screen. Not sure what model years this would include. Although, any reboot to the...
Mr Big...........go to another Ford Dealer. On my vehicle with symptoms a pressure test was done on the Trans inwhich it failed. So Trans was taken down and o'hauled. I don't believe any codes were found on mine said the Service tech when I inquired on the phone telling me it needed to be...
