    Hah!

Sunnyvale Ford is decent, just stay away from Harvey. The chip on his shoulder is so big it migrated to his bad haircut to show it off!

    Hah!

Best of luck if you are servicing at North Bay Ford. They were terrible to work with on our MachE (told my pregnant wife to look up the bus route when they wanted to keep the car overnight ) so we use Watsonville Ford now. They are only a little better, but at least try to work with us when we...

    Dark mode?

This dome light button kills most of my lights…haven’t checked to see if it does what you are describing though…?

    What to do??

I went with a Timberline because of the HO 3.5 and the off-road capabilities. This meant only short wheelbase which cut down on space for my (same as you) family of 7 but happens to be an increase in payload. Best upgrade I’ve done so far is a Yakima EXO setup. We got up to the mountains for a...

    305/70R18 Stock Timberline

Wondering @LazSlate what wheels and specifically offset of said wheels on your setup? Stock being +39mm, anything between that and +34mm should be close to difference between your 305 and @ak49 295 in stock for width on interior well with anything greater than stock clearing me to the outer...

    305/70R18 Stock Timberline

Has anyone put this size on a stock Timberline? That’s the size I want to land with when I need a new set and am ok to trim a little if necessary. Thanks for any feedback! I’ve searched here a little but only seen 295 width maximum so far.

Limited Max SPP steering wheel hand sensor

Agree with @mdecillis I’ve been using ACC in my MME for nearly 50k miles and barely realize the habits I have formed regarding resistive input.

    OTA snyc updates 2023

I have been suffering the same! What I am now trying (with no success so far) is to drive more than 30 min, park at home, engage parking brake, lock upon exit, hope for update…all after doing some reset/feedback shakedown I watched on YouTube. Hasn’t worked, but will have it at the dealer again...

    Expedition too big for daily?

I just recently sold my ‘02 Excursion (for nearly $20k!) to get the ‘22 Timberline. It was solely the fact that a 20 yo vehicle was taking too much of my attention away from my 5 kids. Best part of my Ex was that it parted the seas as described above and towed 10k like nothing was behind her...

PowerStop, Hawk, Akebono, EBC, Bosch, Centric and even Brembo brake pads. So many options with so little reviews and info!

I haven’t changed anything on my timberline so far, but I had the below on my 2002 Excursion PSD that I towed often with and they were an amazing combo. Once pads start to fade on the timberline, the links are what I will get. Slotted Frozen Rotors...

    Power Running boards

This ^ I always find it funny when EVERYONE (including my wife!) believes WD-40 is a lubricant. It helps with squeaky, stuck joints because it cleans out all the junk!

    Sync 4A Update Poll

I can’t find a single thread with all of the info when looking for Sync 4A v4.X updates, who has what version, when the latest version rolled, and what things have changed. Maybe there is more to be seen after getting some responses, and I’ll edit with updates to this if needed, but please share...

New 2022 Timberline Member - Question on interior console wrapping

Following I really want something that will: 1. Stop the glare (hits me in the evenings mostly) 2. Protects the cheap plastic from the scratches that have already started showing up 3. Keeps things (phone, sunglasses) from sliding around a ton 4. Makes my wife stop telling me I follow too close...

    To the Max or Not?

Just to chime back in after getting my Timberline (switch from 2002 Excursion 7.3PSD) a few weeks ago. Went on a short camping trip with 3 of my daughters this weekend. Loaded nearly all of our gear into the Yakima EXO Gearbox with only pillows and backpacks overflowing into the cabin space...

    New Timberline

Was borrowing the travel trailer so haven’t towed w the Timberline. I’ve heard good things about the backup assist but never tried. The mirror situation is a bit concerning and wondering if some of the camera selections could help.

    New Timberline

Wow, @KetMalice, seems like a therapy session would do some good after the year of abuse. Don’t be sorry for me though, I’m excited for whatever road is ahead after leaving behind the 20yo machine So far, the Yakima EXO system is fantastic! I had to return 2 swing bases because the locking...

    Cupholder fell through console! Weird!!!

I don’t know how to get this into a noticeable position, but my console came apart different than described. MY22 Timberline: 1. The leather sides clip off and on, no issues. However, the console is held in place w/ 4 bolts (used a 7mm socket on them) I don’t know how to get this into a...
