I don't know what type of antenna you plan on using but... On the old CB radios we needed a gound plane to use as a receiver... the whip antenna is just the transmit side. On a metal roof the magnet sticks to the roof metal to form a ground plane for receiving. They do make antennas for vehicles...- Greyeagle

Rear liftgate issue
My pw liftgate is always opening on ts own ... thats how i found out a out the fuses.. I have hit the garage 3 times be ause it was open. First time it did it I had to replace the rear window... $339 Dealer cost... he cut me a break on it- Greyeagle

Rear liftgate issue
Fuses 14 and 17 both power the power liftgate. Should be able to reset by removing and replacing number 14, it is the always hot line- Greyeagle
