2005 Eddie Bauer Booster Check Valve

Hey All, I have a 2005 Eddie Bauer with AdvanceTrac My issue is very weak braking power when first pushing the pedal. If I leave my foot on it for a second and push further, it grabs nicely. Pedal is very firm with engine off so I believe this to be a vacuum issue. I'm seeing no vacuum from...

    Big Brake Kits?

So my 2015 Expy has nice 20" wheels on it, but I love the way the Platinum's 22" size looks. I have a buddy that owns a wheel shop, and can get reps of my wheels and have them powdercoated in the colors mine currently are. So, one thing I hate, is larger sized wheels with tiny brakes behind...

    Uneven brake pad wear

Front brake pads have uneven wear. Left front is 4 mm; Right front is 9 mm. Clean and grease the caliper pins, or replace the Left front caliper? If you replace one caliper should you replace the opposite caliper at the same time? 2009 Expedition with 214k miles.

Replaced pads and rotors, brake pedal sinking to floor now?!?

I just installed a Powerstop Z36 on my 2015 XL and I cannot get the brake pedal to stop sinking to the floor. I didn't crack the system at all, just retracted the pistons with channel locks (bleeders closed) and replaced everything as normal. As soon as I went to test the truck out, the pedal...

I have a 2012 Expedition XLT EL. The other day the "Service Advancetrac" warning appeared on the instrument panel readout and the ABS lights came on also. Then, for a brief second, I lost brakes. Then, the brakes started working again, but the lights stayed on. Later, after having been parked...

    2017 brakes

I have a new-to-me 2017, bought in April. It has just about 50000 miles. When I rotated the tires, I noticed the front brakes had been recently done, pads and rotors. The rears were original. However on looking at the rears I noticed the inner pads were almost like new, while the outer ones...

    Brake failure / Master Cylinder/Booster '16 Expy

Hi friends. I had a complete failure of the gasket between the Mastery Cylinder and Brake Booster yesterday. Gratefully, the car was stopped when it happened. Being repaired at the ford dealer now. I have read that 2015 F-150s with EcoBoost were recalled for this part failure, but not so...
