Hey all 1st post, been lurking and I did a search but still looking for more info.
I have an 01 XLT with 140k on it. I have never liked the rims on it and always thought it would look better lifted up. Well now it is time for tires so I am thinking it is time for new wheels and a lift. Think I will go with 18 inch wheels and some A/T type tires, still undecided on style for both of these. I saw the fab tech lift spindles / kit and the spacers on ebay. Here comes the questions lol
1 I see they have spacers for the front end as well as the rear. Has anybody used these? What would be better billet or urethane?
2 If I do spring for the fab tech kit could I use spacers with it as well to gain additional lift? What steering issues would I run into with this? Pitman arms , linkage?
The fab tech lift says it will clear 33 inch tires. I just was being greedy with additional lift. I just want it to be higher, figure go big or go home right lol. I plan on getting a programmer to correct the computer functions when doing this.

I dont have much experience with lift a 2WD vehicle. My 63 C10 is dragging on the ground and my K5 is straight axle and was easy to lift. LOL Suggestions and input is much appreciated. Thanks guys.

For ford expeditions that are 2wds its hard to find alot of lifts for them: cheaper there are body lifts (2-3 in.), there are also coil spacers which ive heard of people doing mostly in the rear. Ive heard of them for the front but im not sure if id do that. There are only a few suspension lifts RCD makes a 5 or 6 in. Fabtech makes a spindle lift too its a 3.5 in lift. Im not sure if i answered any of your questions i didnt want to read it all.
