305,

Could be a multitude of things from air cleaner, fuel, MAF, sludgy intake.
Does it ping/detonate?
How many miles on it & since your last service?
Any recent service?
Does it do it all the time; or when hot or cold?
Vacuum leak?

We got the truck in may and it ran perfect...i only had an oil change so far, it doesn't ping or make any noises it just has that hesitation when accelerating. No service lights are on.

It could be a vacuum leak but it could be something else. Its hard to tell without codes. I would take it to your mechanic.

with jerking under acceleration I would put my bet on a low grade miss coming from one of the COPs (coil on plug)... depending on the severity of the miss sometimes taking the OD off can trick the motor into a different power band and avoid the jerking... otherwise you will have to wait for the CEL to come on since a low grade miss will not trip the light or do a tune up of plugs and coils

How old is the trans fluid My first Ex did the same I cant remember if the OD light came on or not but something else to take a look at.

Other wise Coil pack but If you get a new cheep set off E-Bay the plugs dont fit as good as OEM but after some fighting with them they do fit.

And I had 1 of the new coil packs that were bad I just had to swap one at a time until I found it.

I would bet the farm on spark! If you have cop's check em. This was the problem mine had when I first bought it and what led me to find this forum :) anyway mine was spark traveling down the boot and plug to the head where it was grounding. get codes read! and if it has a misfire in any cylinder change your plugs!
here is how to check your COP if you have them.
