So lately I've noticed that the heat in my exp takes forever to get warm and when it does it goes back and forth between cold and hot . Yesterday I pulled in the driveway and shut it off and coolant boiled out of the coolant bottle . Has anyone had any experience with this ? I'm really hoping it's not the head gasket , the vehicle has never overheated and the gauge is reading normal

I should add that the clutch fan seems to be stuck on all the time as well , I've been planning to replace it , I'm not sure if they are related

And there is no antifreeze in the oil

The boiling part is a concern, but the stuck fan clutch would not cause this, but rather a clogged system or even a bad water pump. I would start by flushing the system and replacing the thermostat. The thermostat is easily accessible and you can see if water flows well through the engine and the radiator by flushing it with a garden hose.
