Anyone with the 03+ Expy's installed a box/subs behind their 3rd row seat? I know there isn't a ton of room back there, but I'd be interested in putting something back there. Plus if I had to I can adjust it some since I have power 3rd. Nothing crazy, just maybe 2 10's or 12's, new door speakers, and an indash nav along with a screen from the roof like it had stock.

IF YOU GO WITH A PROBOX (HAD MINE FOR 1O YEARS THIS DECEMBER) AND 2 10'S IT FITS PERFECTLY! AND SOUNDS AWESOME AND LEAVES YOU ROOM FOR A MILK CRATE ON EACH SIDE, THE ONLY ISSUE IS WHERE TO MOUNT YOUR AMP. I MOUNTED MINE ON MY 2ND ROW MIDDLE SEAT. OTHER THAN THAT I KNOW THEY MAKE DOWNFIRE STYLE BEHIND THE THIRD ROW BOXES BUT THERE THE PARTCLE BOARD AND CARPET BOXES. AS FAR AS THE IN DASH NAV I WOULD RECCOMEND SAVING A FEW HUNDRED DOLLARS AND GETTING A GARMIN AND MOUNTING IT IN THE OVERHEAD CONSOLE, THE SCRENS FROM THE ROOF IS COOL BUT THE AC STUFF IS UP THERE AND CAN BE A PITA TO WORK AROUND I JUST PUT MINE IN THE HEADREST OR SHOULD I SAY BACKRESTS LOL, IF YOU HAVE KIDS THEY CAN WATCH IT WITHOUT HAVING NECK PAIN....LOL ( I HAVE A 2 YR OLD AND A 4YR OLD) HERES SOME PICS OF MY SETUP HOPE IT HELPS.......

here is what my subs look like. its easy to remove box if you need to get large items into expy. just tuck wires on side of 3rd row. i have a pioneer head unit and a 1000w amp with a bass/power control knob on dash.

^ Hey I live in Hampton as well.

You guys have definately let me seen it can be done. I was thinking since mine is lifted and the jack doesn't do me really any good I could maybe install the amp under that panel putting the box above. Going to have to measure it and look.

Wanting to go with an aftermarket roof mount because my truck had the factory one and the previous owner pulled it out.

Yeah I'm up in Williamsburg for the weekend, but yeah we should meet up sometime, I'd like to get an idea of what your combo sounds like because it's about what I'm looking to do. Can't miss me, the only yellow Expedition in Hampton lol.
