04 EB Expedition Aircon problem

On my way to work, I noticed that when moving in gear (D) the aircon would progressively blow less air as rpms rose. The aircon would start to weaken as i reach 1.5k rpm and there would be no air at all from the aircon at about 2k rpm. The aircon would work fine anywhere under 1.5k rpm.

While in traffic, I shifted to "Park" then revd the engine to 4k rpm. No problems! The aircon worked fine and continued to blow cold air.

I repeated the above scenarios and the results were consistent. . . no air at 2k rpm while in gear, but runs ok even up to 4k rpm while in Park.

Anyone have any ideas?? TIA

Found the answer to my problem. It was a vacuum leak. .Here's the link to what worked for me.
