Hello im new here. Got an 04 Expedition that needs tires and i want to install something more aggressive and bigger. truck has unknown sized ebay coilspacer i installed like 15 years ago. figuered it might be a good time to remove the spacer and do the struts.

on my mothers 2015 Expedition i did the Bilstien struts and adjusted them to get her truck more lift. is there an option like that for front/rear of an 04? i couldnt find much info on google. otherwise i could just go with a 3/2" spacer front and rear again if not.

does anybody know how thick the spacers are for a 3/2" lift? I know they are not actually 3/2" to achieve that much lift. maybe i dont actually need to change anything

Guys, I put out a post on here a few years ago about this. I installed Bilstein 5100s that were advertised for the 04-08 F150. I coupled them with new Ac Delco (american made) coils for the F150. The Bilstein 5100 has 3 levels of lift you can choose from. I installed using the factory (again, this is for an F150) ride height, and got 2.5 inches of lift. The ride quality on road and offroad is 100% better than factory. I didn't find better options so I put Bilstein 4600s in the rear with the factory coils, and a 1.5 inch spacer. It sits level now. I put 33s on there so I didn't have to install lower gears. There is enough space for 35s, but your truck will be a sled unless you install lower gears - 4.10s or 4.56s. Hope this helps.
