07 Expy limited front bumper ideas

I'm still looking for a steel bumper for my 07. I've inquired with Ironbull and got a quote of $2200. That's a little pricey for a 10 year old truck. Does anyone know if an f150 bumper from a third gen will fit? Thanks,all.

You mean police style supplementary steel pipe up front? Or a metal replacement for the plastic bumper cover??

F-150 bumper will fit, so long as you change the rest of the front clip. Probably a bit more involved than you are looking for. Lights, grille, hood, are different and have different lines. I've seen it done, but the cost to do so, I was told, was around 10k retail. You could probably DIY for around 5k.

There are working troublefree 3rd gens out there for less than 5 grand for the whole truck...hell i own one
