08 limited ac problem

hello I recently purchase 2008 expadition limited. I replaced the ac compressor ( clutch plate was missing) it all back together can get ac compressor to kick on. I jumped the compressor it works. Any help would be appreciated also i did vac the system and refill. I assume there is a sensor some where causing my problems

High or low pressure switch? Wiring? fuses/relays ?

I would remove all the refrigerant with a vacuum pump and then make sure you add the correct amount. Sounds like the history of the AC is a little suspect.

He already did that. The compressor doesn't attempt to turn.
