I have a 2015 XLT with about 177K on it.
While driving, it seems to be missing sometimes. It does it at different speeds and Not during gear chenges. It feels like a traditional slipping torque converter, but like I said, it doesn't necessarily do it during gear changes, but just driving...
What could it be? Mayba a simple tune up?!?(what is that anymore?)
Maybe plugs?
I really like this car. Is there any maintainence needed for the turbos?
Thanks so much for any help and advice.

If you don’t know the history - change the spark plugs and the lower plug insulators on the coils (use the correct Motorcraft parts). Change the PCV valve. Inspect or change the engine air filter. Check the ductwork and clamps for the engine air intake.

My plugs were toast before 100K. I started getting misfires during heavy acceleration while towing and stumbles even without the trailer. I would tackle that first, as it is low-hanging fruit. Be prepared to fight with the boots if you do it yourself. Mine disintegrated during removal. I had to pull them off the plugs piece by piece, then blow out the plug well with some air.

I had same problem a few weeks ago with my '15 Exp...it was bad plugs (which they replaced for free since the plugs were replaced by Ford only 8 months ago) and a couple problem coils. Easy fix.
