This might be kind of an odd question, but I am tired of my truck nearly staling when the gas is below 1/4 tank. I know I could just put more gas in it, but funds arent always there...

So the question is, do newer Expys do the same, and if not can i put a newer Expys tank on a 1st gen Expy? Im assuming that the 1st gen had a design flaw where all the gas swishes around and it wants to stall, my newer cars havent done that, so thats why i would assume its a design flaw. Thanks in advance.

yep, pump is starting to go. I only experience this sort of thing when I have drops of fuel left in the tank. Other than that, no issues.

mine does it, I do have twin 255 pumps in mine and they suck the basket dry quickly though. ITs only with fuel light on. I just try and avoid turning on the fuel light. Its the way the baffles in tank are made.
