I have a 1998 EB Expedition and My question is this.
I see it is wired in the back for a 7 pin connector. Are the wires to the trailer brakes wired into the braking system or will I have to install a brake controller? And does anyone know where these wires are terminated at under the Hood?

you have to get a brake controller, im partial to Tokonsha controllers they are verible... the wires i think are under the dash near the transmission hump on the driver side... should be a brown or black plug... napa or any rv shop will have the pig tail that plugs into your expy that hooks to the brake controller

Do you know if ford offers a brake controller module that is part of the vehicles braking system?
