Here's what mine looks like with a 3.5/2.5 so basically 1" less rake. It still has a fair amount of rake which I like because I don't want the back end to be sitting lower than the front once I'm hauling a load or passengers. But that's just me. I think either the 2 or 2.5 front would look fine. Maybe try the 2.5 and if it looks too "squatty" for you, add a little to the back.

Mine has a 2.5 inch lift in front nothing in back and it does have a slight "squat" to it but looks cool!

Weird, the forum did not even seem to recognize my above post. Posting again to see if it will bump the thread last post date and/or notify the other thread participants.

Lift is from Spindle source. The tire size is 285 75 17 that is not a typo the "75" is available from some tire manufacturers, these are BFG KO2's

I just realized that you are running on the stock rim size of 17". I don't recall asking this, but if I did already, my apologies. Are those rims you have significantly different than the stock aluminum rims that come on the Eddie Bauer Expeditions? Maybe a deeper offset? Or is it close enough that I could just put larger tires on my current rims (which are still in good shape)? -- after doing a modest lift, like yours (1.5" back, 2/5" front, or round about). Just looking to ease into the upgrade w/o spending too much at once. If possible would be great to update the rims at a later time.

Thanks for the info!

EDIT: Right now the truck has 265/70R17's on it.

The Stock 2nd gen expedition wheels are 17x7.5”, +44mm offset, the wheels that i have are 17X8.5, +25mm offset. my wheels stick out about 1.25" more than the stock wheels do (.75" due to offset and .50" due to rim width = 1.25").

I think you could mount those tires on the stock rim tirerackDOTcom says "RIM WIDTH RANGE 7.5-9.5 inches", and discount tire says "7-10 inches".

Thanks! I have seen tires that stick out quite a bit more than that running around town. The only issue would be those tires on the stock rims might be more likely to rub when turning, being a little closer to the inside of the wheel well/inner sidewall.
