Very nice!

If I had to guess I would say well over 400 rear wheel hp. Depends on how aggressive the tune is considering lack of intercooler.

Kenne bell is capable of running some serious boost. The lack of intercooler is the only thing holding that combo back. Might invest in meth injection and tune for it.

Take it to the track and put it on a scale and hp can be calculated.. :)

Yeah, it had water meth originally but it was removed at some point. I was thinking about putting another kit on it. My only concern is water meth consumption, I drive alot, usally 600 miles one way when I do drive and idk how much I would be going through. It seems like any acceleration gets it into boost and its very easy to hit 5psi.
I could get a ten gallon resivor but I dont know where I would mount it.

Its going to be dyno tuned once I get the heads back on it on Thursday next week.
I just am not sure what is realistic for power.

My crown vic all stock with an s-trim and fmic made 350hp-351tq wheel. On 8-9psi

There will be more drive train losses with the expy on a chassis dyno but still think it is plenty capable of 400 plus. IAT's can get fairly high without intercooler so that may hold it back. Your only real option is chemical intercooler since the blower bolts atop the intake.

Could do lightning conversion for the intercooler capability but not sure if your kenne bell is a direct fit with that intake.

I will probably just leave it for now but I get bored easily and will probably do a lightning lower and a big kb or whipple later down the road.
The trans has been all bulletproofed and it has 4.56 gears so hopefully it will help in the scheme of things. It still does pretty well on gearing, 70mph is around 2200 rpm

Had an S trim aftercooled setup on my stang (sold) running 12 psi boost. Never dynoed it with the blower but ran 10.42 @ 129 mph with just under 3600 lbs race weight.

PD blower is a different animal though. Instant throttle response and mega torque!! Perfect for heavy suv.

I was told by the old owner not to launch it off the stall in 4wd.
He claims he tore out the lift in the rear twice and broke countless cv's

I would think launching it in 4wd would actually help take some load off the rear but of course launching against the stall does not. If the lift kit adds to the cv joint angle that does not help. Use of 4wd can obviously stress the transfer case and front drivetrain components vs 2wd.

I will post up the dyno numbers next week.

I will be interested in hearing your results!

A non ic kenne bell is like a oven blowing in the motor and the longer you drive the hotter it gets. I won't be suprised to see the iat around 250* . I would eather add a inter cooler or meth. As for meth kits I've always liked coolingmist I've had great luck with them on one of my cars.

I called kenne bell and priced the lightning 2.6 blower.
Dosent seem worth it for the money and hassle of finding all of the related lightning swap.

Im just gunna do a dd 91 oct. Tune for now.

Later down the road I will be buying a water meth kit and have a tune made for running it when I feel like breaking axle shafts.
