Ya...i do a lot of offroading, and a suspension lift is the one i'd get the most practical use out of.....plus with a body lift...i've heard you have to remount your bumpers cause it sets a big space inbetween them when you do a body lift...has anyone else heard of this?

Reduce body roll. Also known as anti-sway or sway bars. Increases the firmness when one wheel is going up and the other is going down, ie in a body roll. Since these trucks have the suspension on the inside of the frame they're pretty prone to body roll and lifting it will make it even more hazardous.

Trust me, my truck can get pretty unstable when the winds get high here. And being high up with a narrow footing doesn't help. And I've heard that torsion bar upgrades are pretty noticeable. Think they go for 200 a peice or so. You'll need front and back.

Although I could be possible for a kit to include them. But if not definately a good investment! Plus your DJ gear being high up won't help, not sure how much it weighs though. Wouldn't imagine much.

I'm no expert but from what I've been reading you lift the front with the Torsion Key 2 to 2 1/2 inches.

It makes the ride stiffer but is cheap and easy. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/97-0...-Lift-Kit_W0QQitemZ170192815475QQcmdZViewItem

Then you can put the spring spacer in the rear. or new springs maybe

Plus I am sure his Hotchkis sway bars help also.
