Cant get rid of the p0500 I'm using a bluedriver obdII reader. I have ,in the course of sorting codes, replaced my knock sensor, which can be done by top of intake, both front wheel speed sensors, the VSS on the tranny, the oss back of tranny, and a couple other things, oil pressure sensor. I do believe I have a loose connection somewhere so I'm about to pull every harness and clean then Redo the conductive paste on all the pins OX-GARD . Does anyone have the abs wiring diagram. I'm so sick of this code. But I'm broke and can't take it to a shop. I also have a low battery voltage code with a brand new battery I believe is being caused by the air-sus relay by the washer reservoir. Any other ideas?

Do you have a multimeter you can measure voltage with ? What voltage do you get across the battery terminals with the engine at idle ? Should see 14v or thereabouts. If you see less than 13 your alternator is bad. This will cause all kinds of odd sensor readings throughout the system.

Replying to the person that should know the best you're absolutely wrong sorry but yes the 2001 has speed sensors on the rear differential and two on the front one on each wheel do you own a 2001 XPy. I assure you that it has magnetic wheel speed sensors on each front wheel.

I do need a wiring diagram for 01 expedition code L . pin-out for ABS and ECM & GEM . California smog is now reliant on the computer alone for smog check. Smog readiness check won't clear until body module codes are gone. Check engine light does not come on because of this p0500 is anybody else had this problem this code and figured it out is it a broken clip maybe something I'm not seeing?

No. Well yes,Except that. A mechanic named Rod asked me if I check my wheel bearings so I replaced those and straightened out the bent gear that the sensor reads. it was a little oblong but it didn't seem to make a difference after all because my code is still there I'm looking for the ABS pinout and I should be able to track it down then. The abs connector has three rows of seven pin holes only two rows are used and four blades. TRS speed sensors are Chinese made so maybe it's bad right out of the box anybody have an ohm reading on a good speed sensor and I will check out my AC voltage as well.
