2002 Expedition ? PLS

My A/C works perfect on max but when I turn the knob to anything else and puch the A/C button in (yes the light is on) it blowes hot. It has to be a relay or something simple for it to blow cold as winter on max but nothing else. Any help would be great! Thanks in advance and BTW HI!

you will only get cold air by doing max or by turning down temp and putting it on vent/floor. those are the only 2 that get you cold air. anything else just draws reg air out of engine bay i believe. at least that is how it is in my 01 EB.

This is a new problem. The A/C did blow cold no matter where it was set as long as the a/c buttton was pushed in and lit. I have had it since it had 4 miles and never had anything like this

I would be suspect of the dial temp selector on the dash, it should still blow cold just cycles the compressor more or less often as you rotate to a warmer position. I had a Tahoe do the same thing, they had to change the switch assembly.
