I signed up to contribute this: knowledge from the results of my research while repairing a blown hose. Quite a few people were looking for diagrams and there weren't too many out there. This should help people sort out the heater hoses for Expys with the rear climate control (front and rear cores)

Please! If I have made an error on this diagram, let me know. There very well could be something wrong and I seek validation of it's correctness! Pretty sure it's right but if not I will correct it and replace it.

If I am not mistaken - you could connect 1 (before the tee) to 5 and bypass BOTH cores. I didn't do that but it looks like it. Someone want to verify that?

That is certainly the easiest to read diagram I have see. Very nicely done and thank you.

I agree it appears you could simply connection hose 1 to hose 5 and bypass both heater cores. This may very well be the single most helpful part of your diagram as people need to bypass temporarily.
