2003 ford expedition 2nd gen xlt
I like to know what size socket /wrench I should use the turn the brake bleed nut?
In which direction(clockwise or anticlockwise) I should turn the bleeder nut on Rear and front wheels?Just for refernece postion from which I am turning ,I turn the caliper screws in anti clockwise to remove it from rotor
Please help me thank you very much

Counter-clockwise to loosen. I think I used a 3/8, but not 100% sure.

I would try both metric and english on that bleeder because everyone knows cars have a mixture of both. My advice, use a power bleeder. It does a far better job then the old fashion way.

A power bleeder is pretty easy to do. Just hook up the hose to ur bleeder valve, pump it a bit to start some vacuum, open ur bleeder screw up a bit and maintain a pressure until no more air comes out. Shut the bleeder valve as soon as you see no air and make sure to never let the pressure stop so no air gets in. Also make sure ur reservoir doesn't empty.

I was using vacuum in the sense of pressure, not a literal vacuum lol. Your prob right about starting basic though, i saw someone use a power bleeder before i had tried it my self. I used a product similar to what you showed.

I'll see if I can find a pic, but I bought a new brake fluid cap and put an air compressor connector through it. I put my compressor at 15 psi and used that to "power bleed" my lines. Worked like a champ. Just have to refill the reservoir a couple of times.
