I've made a few half a@$ed attempts at charging my system. I have manual controls and can't get the a/c pump to kick on to pull the refrigeratant in.

Is there a way to jump the pressure switch to engage the pump?

I can't get the ac button to light up on my dash. Will it light up with low pressure?

What should the pressure be at in order for the clutch to engage?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Yes you can bypass the low pressure switch. Also check the fuse(s) for the AC circuit.
Pressure to close an open switch will vary by manufacturer. You can use a static pressure of 45 degrees to close the switch.
