2004 Eddie Bauer Expedition Console Issue

The sunglasses holder on my overhead console has a broken latch. I need to remove it and replace it. Anybody have any tips to get it out?

I replaced mine on my 2006 model... same thing happened to me... I had to replace the whole console as I couldn't find any way to replace just the sunglass clip. I rigged it with Velcro but that didn't last very long... after some looking (several months) I found the console on E-bay. I think I paid about $55.00 plus shipping. Replacing the console was easy. Just is held on by clips. I use my buck knife to pry off the console. Disconnected the electrical connection and that was it...
